Tapping machines are used for making connections to pipelines, tanks, and plant piping without shut-down and are used to make hot taps in preparation for plugging machine application.
The Models 1000 Drilling Machine are available in Three versions: 1018 with 18” of travel, 1028 with 28″ and the 1032 Model with 32” of travel. However we also manufacture PTM-1000 serie for more strokes (20″ or 24″) under special requirement. They meets NACE Standard and CE, sulphide stress cracking resistant metallic material for oilfield equipment. The maximum working pressure is 1,480 psi (100 bar) at 100°F (38°C). Its operating temperatures are -20°F (-29°C) to 700°F (371°C) at 700 psi (48 bar) for intermittent service. The maximum continuous rating is 350°F (177°C) at 1,025 psi (70 bar).
