A PTM-5108 Tapping Machine has been delivered to a client in Europe to perform Hottaps from Ø12″ to Ø42″ for 100 bar pressure pipelines of Gas or Oil.
Compatibility test was required by client using Propipe Machine with T.D.Williamson Fittings and consumibles. We used our machine and power unit with Adapter, Cutter, Slim Valve and fitting of the Tulsa manufacturer. Result was satisfactory and our Equipment was certified 100% compatible.

Propipe has successfully supplied engineered hot tapping fittings and essential equipment to AKT Contractor for the connection of the Ratawi Field and its gas processing plant to Iraq’s National Gas Network.
All fittings were designed and manufactured in full compliance with TotalEnergies’ technical specifications, ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational performance during hot tap operations.
This project represents a significant milestone in strengthening Iraq’s energy independence by increasing domestic gas utilization and reducing reliance on imported gas from neighboring countries.
These fittings are being used in the expansion of the Enagás plant in Barcelona to increase the regasification capacity of the facility. By applying the hot tap technique, the new pipelines in the expanded area are connected to the existing installation
